Netscape Navigator 3.x (Windows, Macintosh)
- Select Network Preferences… from the Options menu.
- Click the Languages tab.
- Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
- Click OK.
Netscape Navigator/Communicator 4.x and above (Windows, Macintosh)
- Select Preferences… from the Edit menu.
- Click Advanced in the menu on the left.
- Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
- Click OK.
Microsoft Internet Explorer (Windows)
- Select Internet Options… from the Tools menu.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Custom Level… button, then scroll down to the “Microsoft VM” section.
- Click either High, Low, or Medium Security under “Java Permissions.”
- Scroll down to the “Scripting” section.
- Click either Enable or Prompt under “Active Scripting.”
- Click OK to close the “Custom Level” window.
- Click OK to close the “Internet Options” window.

- Select Preferences… from the Edit menu.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Custom Level… button, then scroll down to the “Microsoft VM” section.
